Yoga for Wise Warriors! With Lees Yunits

This is a yoga practice developed by Lees Yunits, E-RYT 500, who has taught yoga at the Cultural Center since 2017. With more than 40 years of practice and study, Lees includes the techniques of Hatha, Yin, Kundalini, Vini-Yoga, Meditation, and Pranayama. Her classes enhance every aspect of well-being. Stretches, holds, balance postures, breath and meditation; there is always something to keep you on your toes, but not break your toes!
This class meets in the Owl Hall located on the main level of the Education Wing.
Join us for continuing Zoom Yoga classes on Friday at 8:30am, and/or live classes at 7:30am on Wednesdays.
By registering for this class, I acknowledge that I am participating in yoga offered by the Cultural Center of Cape Cod, during which I receive information and instruction about healthy and safe practice. I recognize that these classes and workshops may require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and could result in physical injury, and I am fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.
I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a physician prior to and regarding my participation in classes and workshops.
I agree to assume full responsibility risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown which I might incur as a result of participating in the program. I agree to inform my instructor of any physical limitations, physical discomfort and/or injuries before or during class. And I take full responsibility for non-disclosure.
Please bring your yoga mat and some water; a block is optional.

Lees Yunits, E-RYT-500
Lees Yunits is a certified and experienced Yoga teacher specializing in Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga, with elements of Kundalini yoga, Viniyoga, Pranayama (Breathwork) and Meditation included in her classes. She has been teaching for more than twelve years, (three of them at the Cultural Center), practicing for more than forty years, and has also produced several Cable TV Yoga shows, most recently at Lower Cape TV in Eastham. Lees believes that yoga is especially important for mature students who strive to stay healthy, both physically and mentally. Her advanced degree focused on yoga therapy and thus her classes, “Yoga for Wise Warriors,” is a style with that in mind.
